If Carolos uses 3/8 cups of sugar for 1 loaf, then he will use 3/8×6 cups of sugar for 6 loafs.
[tex] \frac{3}{8} \times 6 = \frac{18}{8} = 2 \frac{2}{8} = 2 \frac{1}{4} [/tex]
Therefore, Carolos used 2 1/4 cups of sugar to make 6 loafs.
