1 gallon is about 3.785 Liters
2.75 gallons × 3.785 Liters / 1 gallon
10.40875 Liters = 2.75 gallons
2.75 gallons is less than 12 Liters.

2.75 gallons = 3.79 x 2.75 = 10.4225 liters

So,  12 liters is greater than 2.75 gallons
