Lin read 5/8 of the total article on Monday and Tuesday. Lin read 3/8 of the article on Monday. Lin read 1/4 of the article on Tuesday. 1/4 can be converted into 2/8. 2/8 plus 3/8 is 5/8, which cannot be further simplified.
