Nancy's rectangular garden is represented in the diagram below. Walkway 8 feet 15 feet If a diagonal walkway crosses her garden, what is its length, in feet?

we know that

To find out the diagonal, apply the Pythagorean Theorem

so

d^2=8^2+15^2

d^2=64+225

d^2=289

d=17 ft

therefore

the answer is 17 feet
