Answers:

x= -10 and y= 16

3y = -6x - 12

3y = -6(-2y+22) -12

3y = 12y - 144

3y + -12y = 12y -144 + -12y

-9y = -144

divide -9 on both sides

y= 16

x= -2y+22

x= -2y+22

x= (-2)(16)+22

x= -10
