The square root of 2 is 0.02468143. 
So, the square root of 2 is LESS than 1.8 repeating.

The answer above is half right the square root of two is an irrational number that equals about 1.41. That being said tho 1.41<1.8. So the answer would be the square root of two is less than 1.8
