Shawn is 5 years older than Rachel. In 8 years the sum of their ages will be 73. How old is Shawn?

subtract 8 from 73 you get 65

You just subtract 8 from 73 and get 65 so Shawn is 65 and Rachel is 60 :) hope this helps
